Esta dança está relacionada ao trabalho de colheita que as camponesas egípcias realizavam durante a primavera. Não há músicas ou roupas específicas, mas recomenda-se um tema bem alegre já que, trata-se de uma dança festiva. A bailarina segura um cesto de flores que pode ser colocado sobre a cabeça, ombros, ao lado do quadril, etc...
This dance is related to the flower harvest held by the Egyptian peasants during the spring. There is no a specific music or costume but a happy theme is recommended once it is a festive dance. The dancer holds a basket full of flowers which she can place on her head, shoulders as well as by the hips.
