In the video above the dancer teaches you two kinds of shimmy. The first one is the"triangular shimmy" and the other one is in honor of the famous dancer MONA SAID.
"triangular shimmy":
- do the hip bump twice to one side;
- put the other leg ahead and repeat the hip bump;
- you will actually walk doing the shimmy. That's the idea of the step;
"Mona Said":
- contract and release your pelvis;
- try do the same adding a shimmy;
- the emphasis is on the contraction of the pelvis as if you were sit down;
